    Plans changed, we're going out of town on Saturday now ~ I will attend one of our meetings soon, I look forward to this discussion group! If it's not too much trouble, will someone please post about what's discussed on Saturday? Do you think we'll turn into a book reading club? Also, are any of you writers? I belong to a Latino writers group, Los Porteños (we're not from Buenos Aires, it's a riff on Portland) ~ if you're interested, please let me know.

    Either of those locations works for me, thanks, though I'm partial to NW ~ there's a good World Cup on NW 16th & Glisan (maybe 17th?).

    Or does anyone want to meet at a coffee shop in SE Portland, maybe? The Red & Black Cafe at SE 12th & Pine might be a good place. Or any number of other ones, for that matter ... But I'm not too picky, as long as it isn't in the suburbs.

    Since we're a small group,perhaps we could meet at the World Cup Coffeehouse inside Powell's downtown. Or we could go to a Mexican restaurant.
